ABOUT S.C. SELLECK

Sutter C. Selleck is a solo practitioner at S.C. Selleck Law in Walnut Creek, California. They practice primarily in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Will & Trust Litigation, and Elder Law. 

Sutter’s deep passion is protecting and advocating for the rights of diverse classes and is deeply involved in their community while continuing to build their corporation. S.C. works to promote tolerance and diversity in both the legal profession and the community and is impacting the lives of others through community engagement and outreach campaigns designed to build relationships, educate the community and create a broader social impact. 

Sutter C. Selleck was born and raised in the Bay Area. They received their Undergraduate B.A. in History from UCLA, their Masters in Education from Pepperdine University and their Juris Doctorate from Western State University.

Sutter has been in practice under 7 years, but in that short time has become a proud and active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association (CCCBA). Sutter Selleck is currently on the CCCBA Board of Directors and spent time as the Secretary and Board Member of California Women Lawyers. S.C. was appointed to the Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging in 2016. They have been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2017, 2018 and 2019. In 2019, they received both the Diablo Magazine’s 40 under 40 Award and the California Lawyers Association Solo & Small Section Excellence in Service Award. Sutter Selleck was also the co-host of California Women Lawyer’s Seat At The Table podcast, which is a series dedicated to sharing the stories of feminist leaders in an effort to promote the advancement of women in the legal profession. Sutter now hosts a new podcast through MSheLE, called, “Spilling the Tea”.
